21st Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Centring on an aquamarine weighing 45carats, featuring a freshwater pearl necklace with pearls approximately 9-15mm in size. This necklace is the embodiment of the harmony of the ocean. The family of dolphins are made with 18k white gold, adorned with approximately 5carats full cut and rose cut diamonds, as well as approximately 2 carats aquamarine..
Under the Sea
“To me, jewellery expresses feelings that cannot be put into words, yet it can turn into a conversational piece like nothing else. While I was working on my first signature piece as a jewellery designer, I was inspired by the harmony of the ocean, creating symmetry with asymmetrical lines, designed with a playful imagination that resonate with the nature of the ocean. When people see this necklace, I hope they will be reminded of the beauty of the ocean.”
